Illy Coffee

Espresso

Illy coffee is made with 100% Arabica beans that typically contain 50% less caffeine than the more common Robusta beans. As a result, the caffeine intake after one coffee cup brewed from pure Arabica is normally lower than 100 mg, whereas Robusta can give as much as 200 mg or more per cup. It is widely agreed that Arabica blends produce a finer cup of coffee cup with more acidity, a refined aroma and a sweeter after-taste.

Cappuccino

Famously named after the Italian order of Catholic Capuchin monks, whose hooded robes resemble the shape and colour of the drink’s cap. Made with one-third espresso, one -third steamed milk and one-third milk foam.

Latte

Coffee with steamed milk, usually in a 1 to 3 ratio. It can contain a flavoured syrup and be topped with a layer of milk foam.

Mocha

A fabulous flavour made by combining chocolate and espresso with cappuccino milk foam.

Americano

Americano is a style of coffee prepared by adding hot water to dilute espresso. Often an acquired taste, many drinkers prefer it black and unsweetened to fully appreciate the differences in taste from regular coffee.
