As I mentioned last week, March 18th is a special day for us we opened for business on Saturday March 18th 2006, precisely two years ago!

So much has happened during those two years but I’ve been delighted with the response from you all to the food and drink we make in our deli.

To celebrate the second anniversary of Del Sole on 18th March 2008 we are launching a new and very special prize draw for our newsletter subscribers.

Each prize is a highly valuable gift on its own, so sign-up to our newsletter online or in-store today to ensure you have 3 chances to win one of the following prizes below.

1st Prize - Illy Crystal 6 Piece Espresso Cup and Saucer Set

In addition to the highest quality coffee, Illy is also famous for its ‘Illy Collections’, a series of exclusively designed espresso cups and saucers.

The value of these collector sets can grow enormously with time, selling for as much as $1500 each.

This set of 6 crystal espresso cups and saucers are not availble to purchase anywhere and have been kindly donated by Illy for our Anniversary prize draw.

2nd Prize - Mukka Express Cappuccino Maker
This is Bialetti’s unique stovetop cappuccino-maker! Just put water in the base, ground coffee in the filter basket and cold milk in the top pot. Place on a gas or electric hob and in 3-4 minutes you have up to 3 cups of frothy cappuccino! This machine is available to buy in the UK for around £50.

3rd Prize - Bialetti ‘Cuor di Moka’ Espresso Maker
This collaboration between Illy and Bialetti has raised the standard of stovetop espresso-makers. Using a unique and patented extraction system, it only allows the purest espresso coffee to be made by eliminating the unwanted particles that normally occur when extracting espresso coffee. Currently unavailable to buy in the UK, this model was bought in Italy.

Otherwise you can complete and hand-in a form with your details in our deli during the day. The draw will be made on April 19th and the winners will be informed by email and phone. All prizes must be collected from our deli within 14 days.
